TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER'S BIGGEST WEEKEND IS HERE.

The bracket is set. The field is down to the best of the best. Every team left standing has battled through districts, bi-districts, regionals - and now there's only one destination left. The UIL State Championships. This isn't just soccer. This is legacy. This is everything. Let's break down the matchups that have everyone talking.

6A BOYS - THE MARQUEE MATCHUP: Allen vs. Klein Cain | D1 Semifinal | Championship Game: 1:30 PM

Allen. Just the name alone carries weight in Texas high school sports. The Eagles don't just show up to state - they show up to WIN. But Klein Cain is not the team you want to see in a semifinal. They are physical, they are organized, and they have been on an absolute tear to get here. This is the kind of matchup that decides who the real contender is before the trophy is even on the table. Allen has the pedigree. Klein Cain has the hunger. Something has to give on that pitch.

On the other side, Plano West vs. The Woodlands College Park is a clash of two programs that know exactly what it takes to win at this level. Plano West brings the DFW grit. College Park brings that Houston-area relentlessness. The winner punches their ticket to the 6A-D2 final - and neither squad is planning on going home early.

6A GIRLS - CARROLL ON A MISSION. Southlake Carroll vs. Forney | D2 Semifinal | Championship Game: 4:00 PM

Southlake Carroll is one of the most decorated programs in the entire state of Texas - and they are not here to reminisce. They are here to add to the legacy. Forney, though, has been one of the best stories of this postseason. Nobody gave them this moment, and they earned every single step of it. If Forney can keep Carroll from imposing their style early, this game gets very interesting, very fast.

Meanwhile, Keller vs. Garland Sachse in the D1 bracket is a DFW showdown that the region has been buzzing about. Keller has the experience. Sachse has the attitude. Whoever wins that one is going to be dangerous in the final.

5A BOYS - THE SLEEPER HIT OF THE WHOLE BRACKET. El Paso Americas vs. Prosper Walnut Grove | D1 Semifinal | Championship Game: 1:30 PM

West Texas vs. North Texas. Two completely different styles of soccer colliding on the biggest stage. El Paso Americas has quietly been one of the most dangerous teams in 5A all year - don't let the geography fool you, they came to play. Prosper Walnut Grove is a program on the rise in one of the fastest-growing areas in the state, and they have the talent to match the moment. This game has upset potential written all over it.

And then there's El Paso Burges vs. Frisco Wakeland on the D2 side. Wakeland is a name that commands respect in 5A soccer. Burges is the wild card nobody wants to see. The 6:30 PM kickoff means the energy in that stadium is going to be electric.

5A GIRLS - Grapevine vs. Frisco Wakeland | D2 Semifinal | Championship Game: 4:00 PM

This is THE game of the 5A girls bracket. Grapevine has been locked in all postseason, playing with a chip on their shoulder and a clinical edge in front of goal. Frisco Wakeland is a powerhouse - they have been here before, they know how to handle the pressure, and they are not intimidated by anyone. Two elite DFW programs. One ticket to the final. This one might not be decided until the final whistle - or beyond.

On the D1 side, Burleson Centennial vs. Prosper Walnut Grove is another battle worth watching. Centennial has been one of the most consistent teams in 5A all year. Walnut Grove is making noise in both the boys and girls brackets this postseason, which tells you everything you need to know about that program right now.

4A BOYS - LAKE DALLAS VS. PALESTINE | D1 Semifinal | Championship Game: 1:30 PM

Lake Dallas has the home-state advantage of playing in front of a North Texas crowd that knows their name. Palestine is coming in with something to prove and a squad that has been dismantling opponents all postseason. This one is a pure battle of will. And on the D2 side, Bridgeport vs. Dallas Pinkston is the kind of gritty, physical matchup that 4A soccer does better than anyone. Both teams have earned this moment the hard way.

4A GIRLS - WAXAHACHIE LIFE VS. CELINA | D1 Semifinal | Championship Game: 11:00 AM

Waxahachie Life has been one of the most exciting teams to watch in 4A girls soccer this year. Celina, though, is a program that has been building toward a moment exactly like this. Two North Texas schools. Pride on the line. And in the D2 bracket, Godley vs. Sunnyvale is the definition of two teams that nobody counted on making it this far - and both of them have the talent to prove the doubters completely wrong.

THE ROAD TO THE TROPHY RUNS THROUGH ONE WEEKEND.

Semifinals: April 2-4. Finals: April 9-11.

Every team left has a story. Every team left has a reason. But only a few are walking away with a state championship. The best high school soccer in Texas is about to be on full display - don't look away. 🏆⚽
