FRISCO, TX - Emerson walked into Frisco on Tuesday night with a clear plan and left with one of its most convincing wins of the season, rolling past the Raccoons 5–0 in a dominant district performance.

From the opening whistle, Emerson controlled the tempo, using quick ball movement and aggressive pressure to keep Frisco pinned in its own half. The Mavericks wasted little time turning possession into production, breaking through early and steadily widening the gap as the match went on.

Emerson’s attack was balanced and relentless, with multiple players finding the back of the net. John Pacheco led the way with two goals, consistently creating chances and capitalizing on Frisco defensive breakdowns. He was joined on the scoresheet by Griffin Taylor, Abhiram Gardas, and Khalid Sankoh, each adding a goal to cap off a complete offensive showing.

While the goals stood out, Emerson’s defensive effort was just as impressive. The Mavericks limited Frisco’s opportunities, shutting down counterattacks and keeping the Raccoons from generating sustained pressure. Clean defending and solid organization helped Emerson secure the shutout without allowing Frisco to gain momentum.

The win strengthens Emerson’s position heading into the final stretch of the season and reflects the consistency they’ve shown in recent matches. For Frisco, the loss was a tough setback, but the Raccoons will look to rebound quickly as district play continues.

Both teams now turn their attention to Friday night, with Emerson preparing for a matchup against Independence and Frisco set to face Lebanon Trail in another key district contest.
