Texas High School Football's Most Complete Database Is Now Live.
Texas high school football is not just a sport in this state. It is a tradition. It is a Friday night religion that stretches from El Paso to Beaumont, from Amarillo to Brownsville, from the biggest 6A programs in the suburbs of Dallas and Houston to schools in towns most people have never heard of. Every single one of those programs has a story. Every single one of those schools has a history worth knowing. And until now, there was no single place where all of that lived together under one roof.
That changes today.
We are proud to introduce the Vault - our brand new database now accessible directly from the navigation bar at the top of this page. The Vault is the most ambitious project we have ever built, and the mission behind it is simple. Every Texas high school that plays football deserves a home. The Vault is that home. And we are just getting started.
WHAT IS THE VAULT?
The Vault is a comprehensive, constantly growing database dedicated entirely to Texas high school football. When you open The Vault, you are opening the most complete collection of Texas high school football information that has ever been built in one place. Every school in The Vault gets its own profile. And that profile is built to tell the full story of that program - not just what happened last season, but everything that makes that school's football program what it is. Schedules. School history. Program records. Championship history. The full picture of what a program has built over time, all in one place, all available the moment you click on a school's name.
WHERE WE ARE STARTING - UIL 4A THROUGH 6A.
The Vault is launching with UIL 4A, 5A, and 6A programs as our foundation. That means from the jump, The Vault covers the most high-profile, most widely followed, and most competitive classifications in Texas high school football. The 6A programs that fill the biggest stadiums in the state and produce the most Division I talent every year. The 5A programs that have built some of the most storied dynasties in the history of the sport - Celina, Aledo, Manvel, Carthage - programs that have defined what Texas high school football looks like at its best. And the 4A programs that represent the heart of the sport in some of the most passionate football communities in the entire country.
These are the classifications that drive the biggest conversations in Texas high school football every single week of the season. And The Vault is building the most complete database of those programs that has ever existed - schedules, histories, records, and everything in between.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND INSIDE THE VAULT.
Schedules. Every program in The Vault has their schedule documented so you can see exactly who they are playing, when they are playing them, and where those games are being held. Whether you are a fan trying to plan your Friday nights or someone tracking a player's upcoming opportunities, the schedule section gives you everything you need in one clean look.
School history. This is where The Vault goes deeper than anything that has existed before. The history section of each school profile covers the full story of that program - when the school was founded, when the football program began, the coaches who built it, the players who defined it, and the moments that the community still talks about decades later. Texas high school football history is rich and it is deep and it deserves to be preserved and celebrated properly. The Vault is committed to doing exactly that.
Program records. Championships won. Playoff appearances. District titles. The numbers that define a program's legacy over time. The Vault is building out the statistical and historical record of every program in our database so that the full picture of what a school has accomplished is always available and always accurate.
THE ROAD MAP - WHERE THE VAULT IS GOING.
Launching with 4A through 6A is the foundation. But the vision for The Vault goes much further than that. The plan is clear - UIL 1A through 3A programs are coming next as we work our way down through the classifications and build out the database to include every level of Texas high school football that the UIL governs. And TAPPS is on the roadmap too. Programs like Dallas Jesuit, Prestonwood Christian, Cornerstone Christian, and dozens of others that have built real traditions and real histories in Texas private school football are going to have a home in The Vault as well.
Every addition makes the Vault more complete. Every new school profile that goes live brings us one step closer to the goal of having every single Texas high school football program fully documented and fully accessible. We are building this the right way - starting with the biggest classifications, getting those profiles as deep and accurate as possible, and then expanding outward until the database covers the full landscape of Texas high school football from top to bottom.
This is a long-term project. We know that. And we are committed to it for the long term.
BUILT FOR FANS. BUILT FOR SCOUTS. BUILT FOR THE COMMUNITY.
The Vault was built for everybody who cares about Texas high school football - which in this state is a very large number of people. If you are a fan of a specific program and you want to know everything there is to know about the history of your school's football team, The Vault is your resource. If you are a parent trying to follow your child's team and keep track of the schedule week by week, The Vault has you covered. If you are a coach or a scout looking for information on an upcoming opponent, The Vault gives you the school profile and history you need to understand the program you are preparing for.
And if you are just a Texas football fan who loves the sport and wants to spend time going deep on the history of programs from every corner of the state - you are already in the right place. Click Vault in the navigation bar and start exploring.
THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
The Vault is not finished. It will never truly be finished because Texas high school football is always adding new chapters. New seasons. New champions. New records. New moments that need to be captured and preserved. The Vault is designed to grow with the sport. As new schools are established, as programs add to their histories, as seasons come and go and leave their mark on the record books, The Vault will be there to document all of it.
What we can tell you right now is that the foundation is built. UIL 4A through 6A is live. The profiles are being filled in and the work is already more comprehensive than anything that has existed in this space before. Every week The Vault gets bigger. Every week the coverage gets deeper. Every week we get closer to the goal of having every single Texas high school football program fully documented and fully accessible.
