Frisco ISD Football Schedules Have Released

Twelve schools. Three UIL districts. One classification nobody in Frisco ISD has ever played in before. The 2026-27 season is shaping up to be the most compelling in the district's history and the schedule is loaded with matchups that are going to have the entire North Texas community talking from August all the way through November. Here are the games worth circling right now.

CENTENNIAL VS. DENTON - WEEK 1

Centennial opens the 2026 season at home at Kuykendall Stadium against Denton in what is one of the better Week 1 non-district tests on any Frisco ISD schedule. Denton is a program with a proud tradition and they are making the trip into Frisco for an early-season matchup that sets the tone for everything Centennial wants to accomplish this year. A home opener against a quality opponent is the perfect way for the Eagles to establish their identity in front of their own crowd before the district schedule begins.

PANTHER CREEK VS. CELINA - WEEK 5

Panther Creek hosts Celina at Kuykendall Stadium in Week 5 in one of the most fascinating non-district home matchups on the entire Frisco ISD calendar. Celina - nine state championships, 14-1 last season as semifinalists, and one of the most celebrated programs in Texas high school football - making the trip to Frisco is a massive moment for the Panther Creek program. The Cats get one of the most storied names in the sport in their building in front of their home crowd. This is a measuring stick game of the highest order and a Friday night at Kuykendall that the entire Frisco ISD community should be there for.

FRISCO VS. PANTHER CREEK - WEEK 11

Save this one for November. Frisco hosting Panther Creek at the Ford Center at The Star in Week 11 to close out the regular season is the kind of rivalry finale that could have serious playoff positioning implications for both programs. Both schools are in the 5A-D2 district bracket competing for the same playoff spots. When they meet in the final week of the regular season with seeds on the line the atmosphere inside the Ford Center is going to be electric. This is the game that could define both programs' postseason trajectories.

EMERSON VS. ANNA - WEEK 4

Emerson hosts Anna at the Ford Center at The Star in Week 4 in one of the more intriguing non-district home matchups of the early season. Anna - a program with a state title in 2023 and 10-2 last season - making the trip to the Ford Center gives Emerson one of their biggest home games of the year. Anna is a program that shows up ready to compete in every environment they walk into and Emerson at home against a proven winner in front of their crowd is the kind of game that builds a program heading into the district stretch. Thursday night at the Ford Center in Week 4 - be there.

WAKELAND VS. DENTON GUYER - WEEK 5

The biggest home game in Wakeland history. Denton Guyer - two-time state champion, 11-3 last season, one of the most respected programs in North Texas - making the trip to Toyota Stadium in Frisco for what is Wakeland's first major statement opportunity in their inaugural 6A season. Guyer plays with a physicality and a program confidence that has been built over years of competing at the highest level. For Wakeland to announce themselves as a legitimate 6A presence they need to win games like this one at home. Thursday night. Week 5. Toyota Stadium. The entire Frisco ISD community needs to be in that building.

WAKELAND VS. LEWISVILLE - WEEK 6

Wakeland follows up the Guyer game with another massive 6A district matchup - hosting Lewisville at Toyota Stadium in Week 6. Lewisville is a 6A program with size, tradition, and the kind of roster that shows up ready every single week. Back-to-back home games against Guyer and Lewisville in Weeks 5 and 6 is the stretch that is going to define Wakeland's entire first 6A season. Win both and the Wolverines announce themselves to the entire classification. Toyota Stadium in Week 6 on a Friday night - another game worth circling on the calendar immediately.

LONE STAR VS. MELISSA - WEEK 5

Lone Star travels to face Melissa in Week 5 in what is one of the more important early district tests on the Rangers schedule. Melissa has been one of the more competitive programs in their area and they are going to come into this game ready to test everything Lone Star brings on both sides of the ball. For Lone Star - a program that went to the state final last season and has Trey Wright leading the offense - this is exactly the kind of road environment that keeps a team sharp heading into the second half of the district schedule. Friday night on the road in Week 5 with district points on the line.

LONE STAR VS. DENTON RYAN - WEEK 6

This is the game of the Frisco ISD season. Lone Star hosts Denton Ryan at Kuykendall Stadium in Week 6 in the matchup that the entire North Texas football community has been anticipating since the district assignments came out. Denton Ryan - three state championships, 12-2 last season as quarterfinalists, one of the most respected programs in 5A - making the trip to Frisco with everything on the line. Trey Wright and the Rangers offense at home against a Denton Ryan defense that has been built to stop exactly the kind of explosive passing attack Lone Star runs. This game has the potential to be one of the best regular season matchups in the entire state of Texas in 2026. Friday night. Week 6. Kuykendall Stadium. Do not miss this one.

LONE STAR VS. CEDAR HILL - WEEK 3

Lone Star travels to face Cedar Hill in Week 3 in what is one of the best non-district road tests on the entire Frisco ISD schedule. Cedar Hill is one of the most respected programs in the Dallas area - a program with size, physicality, and a winning culture that makes them a difficult opponent for anyone making the trip to their building. For Lone Star this is the kind of early-season road environment that prepares you for everything November can throw at you. Trey Wright and the Rangers offense against a Cedar Hill defense in front of a hostile home crowd is exactly the kind of game that defines a team's character before district play even begins. Week 3 on the road - this one matters.

REEDY VS. WALNUT GROVE - WEEK 3

Reedy hosts Walnut Grove at Toyota Stadium in Week 3 in one of the best non-district home matchups on the Frisco ISD schedule. Walnut Grove has been one of the most talked about programs in 5A after their boys football team went 30-0 last season and their profile across all sports has been rising rapidly. For Reedy this is a Thursday home game against a program that has been competing at an elite level and a result here sends a message about where the Raiders stand heading into district play. Week 3 at Toyota Stadium at home - a statement opportunity for the Reedy program.

LIBERTY VS. MCKINNEY NORTH - WEEK 8

Liberty hosts McKinney North at Toyota Stadium in Week 8 in what is a crucial district matchup for the Warriors as the regular season heads toward its final stretch. McKinney North has been a program on the rise in the Metroplex and they are making the trip to Frisco with playoff seeding on the line. Liberty at home in Week 8 with everything at stake is the kind of pressure moment that the Warriors have been building toward all season. Thursday night at Toyota Stadium - a game that could determine whether Liberty gets into the postseason or goes home.

LEBANON TRAIL VS. NORTH MESQUITE - WEEK 3

Lebanon Trail hosts North Mesquite at Kuykendall Stadium in Week 3 in one of the more physical non-district home matchups on the Frisco ISD schedule. North Mesquite brings the kind of East Dallas toughness that makes them a difficult opponent for any team they face. Lebanon Trail at home in front of their crowd in the early part of the season needs this win to build momentum heading into the district schedule. Week 3 at Kuykendall on a Friday night - a game the Lebanon Trail community is going to show up for in a major way.

INDEPENDENCE VS. NORTH DALLAS - WEEK 2

Independence hosts North Dallas at Kuykendall Stadium in Week 2 in one of the earlier home tests on their non-district schedule. North Dallas making the trip to Frisco gives Independence a home game to establish themselves in front of their own crowd heading into their 5A-D2 district season. Week 2 at Kuykendall is an opportunity for Independence to set the tone early and build the kind of confidence that carries a program deep into the fall schedule.

MEMORIAL VS. RICHLAND - WEEK 10

Memorial hosts Richland at Kuykendall Stadium in Week 10 in what is a potentially season-defining district matchup for both programs. Both Memorial and Richland are competing for playoff spots in the 5A-D2 bracket and a Week 10 home game this late in the season with that much on the line creates the kind of atmosphere that the Ford Center and Kuykendall were built for. Home in Week 10 with a playoff spot potentially on the line - this is the biggest game on Memorial's entire schedule and both programs know it.
